Gong Tingxian of the Ming Dynasty wrote in his "Poetry of Health Care":
Save your energy and preserve your essence to nourish your spirit, think less, have fewer desires and don't overwork your mind. Eat only half full and don't eat anything else, drink only three parts of alcohol and don't drink too often.
Make fun of every joke, always be happy and don't be angry. Don't ask about the fickleness and deception, just let me live a carefree life for a hundred years.
Only drink three parts of wine, have fun without getting drunk, you are one step ahead of others.
In the Song Dynasty, Li Qingzhao's "Sheng Sheng Man·Xun Xun Mi Mi" also pointed out the state of drinking only three parts :
